Our history:

In the middle of the tropical forest, almost 30 years ago we built an oasis of peace from natural materials around us.

Stones collected in the river, trees felled, the roofs covered with palm leaves.

Fireplaces made of white clay for cooking and baking. We transported the additional materials we needed with horses and donkeys up several river crossings in self-made wooden boxes to our living quarters.

We have our own spring that feeds our natural pool (with a waterfall) with fresh water.

With this water we raised our daughters, taught them how to live out of the surrounding nature, and how to give back to nature.

Animals as companions were always around us, like:

Cows, horses, dogs, cats and chickens. Milking cows and cheese making were on the agenda.

We sold the milk to small hotels in Cabarete and took the opportunity to convince small groups of hotel guests  about our day trips.

So then next day we picked them up in the hotel and companied them to our place, which has meanwhile made a name for itself under the term: HEALTH TOURISM, SUSTAINABLE TOURISM.

We bring worlds together for you! We love life, we preserve and protect it and life loves us too.
